Mrs. Ray Kelliher, Mrs. Michael McMahan and Mrs. Bernice Bartle, all of Madison; Mrs. Edgar Mercer, Beloit; Mrs. Morris Peterson, Los Angeles, Calif; Mrs. Lawrence Volk, Plain, and Lorraine Gilbertson, Avoca, and several grandchildren. Arrangements were handled by the Ayers funeral home at Ridgeway.

She migrated to America with her parents at the age of 10 years. They lived for a short time at Wiota, Wis., then moved to Highland, Wis. She united in holy matrimony to Mr. Andrew Dolrude Gilbertson in 1863. Her husband preceeded her in death 37 years ago.

To this union were born nine children, one dying in infancy. Those who mourn her death are; Mrs. Andrew Hanson of Avoca; Gilbert Gilbertson of Dodgeville; Mrs. Chas. Larson of Avoca; Mrs. A.B. Benson of Bismark, N. Dakota; Mrs. Ben Rhinerson of Edmund, Mr. Henry Gilbertson of Hollandale and Mr. Albert Gilbertson at home. Twenty-eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Mrs. Gilbertson was a devout, kind Christian mother. A faithful church member, confessed her sins, but had a firm faith in Savior. Received comfort and spiritual strength from the word of God and the sacrament even though she experienced physical pain and suffering many times. Especially during her last illness.

Funeral services were held at the Otter Creek church, with interment in the local cemetery.
