He moved to Gresham in 1982 and to Sandy six years ago. He was an auto mechanic. He married Lois Burnett in 1953.

Survivors include his wife; sons, Mike Gooderham of La Grande, Steve Gooderham of Bend and Bill Martens of Sandy; daughter, Pam Maggs of Portland; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. The family suggests remembrances to the McMinnville Elks Lodge or a favorite charity.

Casketbearers included Mike Trisler, Ryan Ollerich, Dean Lerdal, Steve Ollerich, Larry Ollerich, and Correy Farniok. Interment was held in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Lennox.

Gladys A. Jenks was born on Mar. 23,1917, at Fort Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Grover Cleveland and Ida Mae (Brody) Jenks. She grew up and attended school in Iowa until she moved with her family to Sioux Falls at age nine.

On Oct. 26, 1940 she married August William Ollerich at Los Angeles, California. The couple lived in California for two years and then moved to South Dakota. Gladys was a devoted homemaker, but also assisted with all the duties of the family farm and ranch operation. August died on Nov. 7, 1980.
Gladys was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Tea. She loved children. As a result of this love, she volunteered many years at the Children's Inn in Sioux Falls and for several years at the Great Plains Zoo. She had a passion for gardening and cooking. She was well known for her fried chicken.

Besides her parents and husband, Gladys was preceded in death by several siblings and a son, Paul Myron Ollerich in 1997.

Grateful for having shared her life are children: Jean Waring. Greeley CO, Bill (Kathie) Ollerich, Sioux Falls, Mary Ollerich, Minneapolis, MN, Vickie Ollerich, Buffalo, MN, Jim (Edith) Ollerich, Parker, CO, Mike (Sheila) Ollerich, Sioux Falls, Bob (Phyllis) Ollerich, Garretson, SD and Dwayne (Renee) Ollerich, Leawood, KS; 28 grandchildren and 59 great and great-great grandchildren; siblings: Maxine Peterson, Anaheim, CA, Everett Jenks, Chino Valley, AZ and Fern Olander, Seattle, WA and other relatives and friends.
