She was the daughter of Heinrich Christoph Ohlendorf and Maria Katharine Elise Klemme.
Marriage13 June 1931Anna Lucinda Ohlendorf married George A. Henle on 13 June 1931 A wedding of interest to their many Hammond friends is that of Miss Anna Ohlendorf, daughter of Henry C. Ohlendorf, of Crete, Ill., and George A. Henle, son of George H. Henle of Chicago, Ill. The bride is a sister of Mrs. John Meyrer of Price Place. The Reverend Bloesch officiated at the service which was read at the hour of four Saturday afternoon, June 13, at the Indiana Evangelical church, near Dyer, Ind. The bride's colors, orchid and white, decorated the church attractively. The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother, Henry C. Ohlendorf Jr., appeared in a becoming orchid chiffon dress with a picture hat and slippers to harmonize. Her bouquet was fashioned of sweet peas, lilies of the valley and roses. Miss Tillle Hoffman, the maid of honor, wore a pretty green organdy frock with picture hat and shoes to match. She carried yellow roses. Henry Ohlendorf served the groom as best man. Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served for about 60 guests at the home of the bride's father at Crete, Ill. In the evening a dancing party was enjoyed by a large group of relatives and friends. For her going away costume Mrs. Henle wore a blue crepe ensemble. The bride and groom, left for the Shades, Indiana. On their return they will make their home at 7808 So. Marshfield avenue, Chicago, Ill. Both young people have the best wishes of their many friends.
