She moved to Abbotsford in 1913 and has made her home here since that time. She passed away at St. Joseph’s hospital, Chippewa Falls, Thursday, September 13, after an illness of six weeks.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. H. J. Nabbefeld, Chippewa Falls; Blanche Merrill, Minneapolis; and Jessie Merrill, Abbotsford; a sister, Mrs. Josephine Nelson, Milwaukee, and a brother, C. W. Birkenmeyer, Tomah.

Funeral services for Mrs. Louisa Merrill were held at the Presbyterian church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, the Rev. L. C. Smith having charge of the services. Music was furnished by the Abbotsford choir and Mrs. George Lange of Stanley.
