Visitation continued one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the church. Funeral Services were April 25 at Holy Family (Immaculate Conception) Catholic Church, St. Helena, with the Rev. Jarett Konrade, Rev. Michael Keating and Deacon Brian Heine officiating. Burial was at Immaculate Conception, St. Helena. Pallbearers will be Tim Heine, Brett Heine, Tyler Heine, Mark Anderson, Jon Konrade, Derek Foxhoven, Eric Kleinschmit and Robert Goeden. Honorary Pallbearers will be the grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Marian Lavina Heine was born Sept. 28, 1920, in Menominee to Hubert and Elizabeth (Hoebelheinrich) Hoesing. She grew up in Menominee and married Emery H. Heine June 2, 1941, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Menominee. She and Emery lived on a farm near St. Helena. She was a member of Holy Family (Immaculate Conception) Catholic Church, St. Helena; the Christian Mothers; Catholic Daughters of America; and the Altar society. Marian loved playing cards, baseball, gardening, spending time with her family, and was an awesome cook. Survivors include her 11 children and spouses, Loretta and Gerald Zuerlein, Columbus; Elaine Hodge, Council Bluffs, Iowa; Larry and Faye Heine, Bloomfield; Janice and Reginald Konrade, Abilene, Kan; Carolynn and Ed Kleinschmit, Crofton; Debra and Mike Anderson, Hartington; Kevin Heine, St. Helena; Marcia and LeRoy Goeden, Sgt. Bluff, Iowa; Joan and Terry Foxhoven, Wynot; Emery Jr. and Cheryl Heine, Yankton, S.D; and Brian and Janel Heine, Fordyce; 64 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Dellano, and his wife, Rita Hoesing, Menominee. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Emery, Feb. 3, 2003, at the age of 88 years; four sisters, Leona Haberman, Verna Schmidt, Kathleen Bruening and DelRey Schafer; one brother, Arland Hoesing; and three grandsons, Jeff and Aaron Heine, and Greg Hemmer.
