He was born on September 2,1950 and grew up in Plain, WI, the third oldest of ten to the late Harold and Arlene (Needham) Diehl.

He was united in marriage to Shari L. Paulus at St. Luke’s in Plain on October 31, 1981. A lifelong CPA, Randy always had a generous heart and enjoyed his office life giving out financial advice. He enjoyed the countless stories from tenants during his management at Karen Arms Apartments.

Outside the office, Randy enjoyed doing everything possible outdoors. You could find him on DFL “guiding” hunts, cutting wood, and looking for morel mushrooms. At home he loved working on his pond or greeting visitors in his chair while reading the newspaper. He spent a lot of time at I-Diehl Tap solving the world’s problems and playing Euchre. He never claimed to be the best Euchre player, but he was better than you.

Randy leaves behind his wife, Shari; their children, Andy (Kya) Diehl and their son, Kash; Alex (Abby) Diehl; Emily Diehl; Matt (Kelly) Diehl and their sons, Miles, Benny and Leo; Abby Diehl (Kyle Bennwitz) and their daughter Maya; siblings, Teresa (Dan) Lins, Beverly (Bill) Ziech, Mary Jane (Ed) Liegel, Emil (Tammy) Diehl, Lori (Jim) Straka, Larry Diehl, Flossie (Jon) Baryenbruch, Judi Diehl (Jeff Meise), John (Chris) Diehl; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

As per Randy’s wishes, a private family service will be held. A Celebration of Randy’s Life will be held for family and friends on Saturday, February 11th at the Vintage Brewery, Sauk City starting at 1:00 pm.

Karen was born in New London on November 12, 1939 to the late Lawrence and Evelyn (Ritchie) Neely. She spent her childhood years being raised in Bear Creek. Karen married John Friis, her best friend and lover of 52 years on October 31, 1959. They spent 1 ½ years in Germany while in the Army. They then made their home and raised their family in Appleton for 23 years before moving to Sherwood. Karen worked for 25 years at St. Elizabeth Hospital, and 20 years at Valley Family Practice. Karen and John's visit to the Holy Land in 2007 was the highlight of their travels - dreams do come true. Her gift, given by God, was herself, she was always the first to sit with anyone who was sick or in the hospital, bring them dinner, or just be their friend. She always showed people real love. Her biggest joys in life were her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is now in the arms of her beloved and precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will be missed by her loving husband John "Mike," Sherwood; 2 daughters: Lisa M. (Mike) Nass, Appleton and Julie A. (Dan) Braun, Fremont; son Brad J. (Diana) Friis, Appleton; 6 grandchildren: Christian (Sarah) Nass, Temple, TX., Aaron Nass, Appleton, Andrew (Ashlee) Nass, Appleton, Tyler Friis, Appleton, Nicole Friis, Appleton, and Brodie Braun, Fremont; 2 great grandchildren: Angelia Nass and Elijah Timothy Nass; a sister, Eileen (Jim) Gossens, Clintonville; a brother, Jerry (Dona) Neely, Clintonville. She is further survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. A Memorial Service for Karen will be held at 11 am Saturday, April 16, at Christ The Rock Church, W 6254 Hwy 10-114, Menasha, with Rev. Bill Lenz officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Saturday from 9 am until the time of service. Inurnment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.

Mary Jane was born May 25, 1918 in Baraboo, WI, the oldest child of Joseph and Josephine (Genteman) Siberz.

Mary Jane grew up on a dairy farm in the bluffs by Baraboo. She worked as a nurse's aid, a nanny, and spent many years at General Finance in Chicago. It was in Chicago that she met the love of her life, Edward. They met dancing at the Aragon Ballroom during WW II, while Edward was working in Chicago. They were married June 23, 1956 in Baraboo. Mary Jane moved to a farm in Logan Center, where she and Edward lived until 1983 when they moved to Larimore. Edward passed away on April 9, 1985.

Mary Jane loved living on the farm, being active in Logan Center Homemakers and St. Stephens Altar Society. She enjoyed visiting with family and comforting others.

Mary Jane is survived by her sons: Dennis (Kristin) McCoy, Northwood, ND; and Dean (Yvonne) McCoy, Vista, CA; grandchildren: Jennifer (Bryan) Johnson, Shaun, Molly, Jeff and Chad; 1 great grandchild Nathaniel Johnson; 11 nieces and 8 nephews; 1 brother Raymond (Carolyn) Siberz, Baraboo, WI and 1 brother-in-law, Wes McCoy, Richfield, MN. Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents; husband Edward; brother James (and wife Joan); sister Alice; sister-in-law Mary McCoy; and sister-in-law Opal (and husband Ray) Taylor.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Larimore at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 10. Visitation will be in the church from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Rosary to follow. Visitation will resume for one hour prior to the Funeral Mass on Friday.

Rite of Christian Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery, Larimore.
