Percy, as her friends called her, was born Priscilla D. Culver on March 24, 1930, at Irene, South Dakota. Daughter of Cress and Selma Culver. She married Carl A. Berglund on September 10, 1947, in Avon, S.D. They lived in South Dakota most of their married life, moving with Carl's employment till he retired in 1988. They moved to Missouri and worked for their son, Greg, until his health failed in 1997. They moved to Mankato, Mn. and lived there till November 2004 when Percy moved to Macon, Mo. and resided there till her death. From this union came two children: Greg and his wife, Cyndi of Macon, Mo., and Sandra Berglund of N. Mankato, Mn. Percy cherished her five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl in 2002 and one great-grandchild. Percy was a great mother and grandmother, she loved them and she loved her life in Macon, her First Baptist Church family and Sunday School class. She will be sorely missed by family and friends. She loved the Lord and was ready to go home! All memorials can be made to Missouri River Hospice. Percy will be buried on Saturday, July 9 at 2 p.m. at Bergen Church, rural Meckling, South Dakota.

Memorial services are 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home in Yankton with Reverend Greg Berglund officiating. Inurnment will be at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Yankton. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 on Friday, December 27 at the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home in Yankton with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Doris was born February 5, 1932 in Irene, South Dakota to Cress and Selma (Fiedler) Culver. She grew up in the Yankton area where she attended school. On October 27, 1951, Doris married Donald C. Frank in Yankton. Don served in the United States Navy so they lived in Tennessee and California. After Don's honorable discharge, they lived in Sioux City, Iowa for several years and then moved back to Yankton in 1960. Doris worked at various places throughout her life, including in the physical therapy department at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Captain Norm's and ABC Chicken. In the mid 1990's, she moved to Sioux Falls to be closer to her family. Doris always stayed active and loved to go on walks. She had a very generous heart and contributed to many different organizations. She took great comfort in the daily reading of her Bible and watching Billy Graham on television. But her most favorite thing in life was gathering with her family and cooking a meal for them. Doris was an excellent cook and you never left her house hungry. She will truly be missed. Doris is survived by three daughters, Donna Frank of Sioux Falls, Vickie (Jerrold) McDonald of Irene, SD and Deb Filler of Sioux Falls; 12 grandchildren which she absolutely adored: Amy, Angela, Jay, Tim, Deonna, Emily, Christal, Ryan, Alicia, Ashley, Hillary and Macaulay; 22 great grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Dale of Gayville, SD; and many nieces and nephews. Dennis was a truck driver for over 50 years and drove for various companies. His favorite companies were; Specialized Hauling, Sioux City, IA and Cedar Grove Farms, Utica, SD. He married Glenyce Lee on June 25, 1988. They had just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. They also drove truck together for four years, which they enjoyed. Dennis is survived by his wife Glenyce, two sons; Kevin (Penny) Culver and Kent (Brenda) Culver all of Omaha, NE, two daughters; Kelly (Jeff) Finkral and Kristin (Darin) Spalding, all of Norfolk, NE, daughter-in-law Rhonda Culver of Yankton, step children; Troy Larson and significant other Melinda, of Yankton, Rick Larson and fiancé Angela of Gayville and Glenda Mitchell and significant other Geno of Irene, SD. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren with another girl expected soon, 1 step-great-grandson with another girl expected soon, two sisters; Doris Frank of Sioux Falls, and Shirley Dale of Gayville, SD and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Kyle in 2009, grandson Corey, sister & brother-in-law Percy and Carol Bergland, brothers & sister-in-laws; Calvin & Fern, Cress & Kay, Elmer & Marg and Dural Culver, Brother-in-laws; Don Frank & Marvin Dale, father and mother-in-law Orris and Olive Lee, brother-in-laws & sister-in-laws; Larry Lee and Lenny (Carol) Lee of Austin, TX, and a very very special friends Don Anderson and Ron Nysven.
