He was born on July 24, 1937 in Reedsburg the son of Erwin and Clara (Meister) Krohn. He was married to Luanne Sheahan on August 19, 1967 in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Germantown. This marriage was blessed with three children. Mick was proud of being a fireman at Badger Ordinance in Baraboo for over 30 years. He was very proud of being in the first group of individuals inducted into the Reedsburg Athletic Hall of Fame, and some of his records still stand today. He had tried out for the Milwaukee Braves and did pitch from the mound. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus. He had a deep faith in God, was very good with elderly in need as well as anyone who needed food to eat. Mick was proud of his children and grandchildren and all their accomplishments. “The fish of Sauk Co. can rest easier because Mick’s fishing pole is retired now that he has gone to his eternal home.”
He was preceded in death by his parents and his Father & Mother-in-law; Ed and Lorrayne Sheahan.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 12:00 noon in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Reedsburg with Fr. Thomas Monaghan officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Reedsburg. Memorials of remembrance may be made to the Leukemia Society in lieu of flowers. The Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mick Krohn.

Virginia was a long-time employee of 40-plus years at Redi-Serve Foods in Fort Atkinson. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, attending plays and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Steven Schyvinck of Oak Creek, Carole (Schyvinck) Hansen of Janesville, Jeffrey Schyvinck of Janesville and Tonia (Schyvinck) Rhinehart of Reedsburg; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Gerald Rego of Reedsburg and William Rego of Florida; sister-in-law, Rita Rego of West Allis; and brother-in-law, John Schyvinck of Edgerton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lawrence; and sister-in-law, Terry Schyvinck.
We celebrate Virginia’s life with a service at noon Thursday, March 20, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 310 Bluff St., La Valle, with Father Lorin Bowens officiating. Visitation will be held 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Dunlap Memorial Home, 604 S. Main St., Fort Atkinson, and Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the church in La Valle. Burial will follow in St. Bridget’s Cemetery, rural Cazenovia.

Jerry was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and enjoyed golfing, shooting his guns at the Dells Outdoor Club and hanging with his friends at his favorite watering hold, Brewster’s Lanes.
