Born February 26, 1921, in Shamrock, Oklahoma, Frannie was the daughter of the late Martin W. Toffelmire and Arletta Smith Toffelmire. On July 26, 1942, she married Charles Herbert (Herb) Ridge who preceded her in death on November 2, 2008. She lived in Marshall most of her life where she was a member and very involved in Community of Christ Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Melissa Ridge of Richmond, CA; one grandson, Holden Ridge; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Frannie was preceded in death by two sisters, Catherine LaGore and Helen Shepherd.

After serving in the US Navy during World War II, he graduated from the Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy with a degree in mechanical engineering. He was employed by Hoosier Cardinal Corporation, Mead Johnson, Welborn Hospital, and Bethel Church. In addition to his employment, he also served as Fire Chief of the Scott Township Fire Department and farmed property in Northern Vanderburgh County. Al was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church in Evansville.

Al is survived by his wife of 39 years, Deborah (Schroder) Shepherd; 4 children: Penelope Johnson (Mark Cook), Stason Stacer, Thomas Andrew Shepherd (Mary Beth Ennulat), and Sarah Cross (Paul); and 5 grandsons: Scott Shepherd, Zachary Johnson, Alex Johnson, William Cross, and Cameron Cross.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Grace Shepherd; and his sister, Mary Susan Shepherd.

The family wishes to extend their appreciation for the care and compassion provided to Al by the staff of Hamilton Pointe and Heart to Heart Hospice.

Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel - A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville where full military rites will be rendered by the American Legion Newburgh Kapperman Post #44. Reverend Kevin Scott Fleming will be officiating. Private burial will take place at a later date at the Ozark Prairie Presbyterian Church Cemetery in rural Mt. Vernon, MO.

Survivors include his children, Kathryne Harris of Marshall, Khristopher LaGore of Marshall, Kristina Cook of Norborne, MO, Angie Rogers of Slater, MO, Heather Dial of Rolla, MO and Bobby LaGore of St. Louis, MO; eight grandchildren; one brother, Phil LaGore of rural Marshall; three step-sons, Mike, Steve and Adam Coates; and two nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two children in infancy, Rusty and Lawrence LaGore.

She was born in Clifton City on August 13, 1926, the daughter of William and Emma (Newell) Brown. Frances and Lyman Guymon were united in marriage on October 17, 1943. Lyman preceded her in death on July 18, 2010.

Frances worked for Lamy Manufacturing for several years. She was a stay at home mother who had a green thumb. Her flower garden was something she was proud of and she was thrilled with the birds her garden attracted. Frances loved to sew and made Barbie Doll clothes for her granddaughters.

Frances and Lyman were married while Lyman was on leave from the U.S. Army. They lived in California for a number of years before returning to Sedalia for retirement.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Sharon Stitt, and her husband, Dale, of Lake Havasu City, AZ; 3 granddaughters: Kelly Thomas, and her husband, Dennis, April Miller and Dawn Brooks; 3 great granddaughters: Amanda, Katelyn and Samantha; her great grandson, Gregory, and her great great grandson, Gavin.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Lyman.

Funeral services will be at 11:00AM, Monday, August 19, 2013 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home. Entombment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum.

Frances' family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00PM, Sunday, August 18, 2013 at the funeral home.
