During that time, he served as President of the Village of Plain, President of the Plain Lion’s Club, 4th degree and Grand Knight of the Plain Knights of Columbus Council, library board officer, Plain Golf Course Development Volunteer Committee, Sauk County Aging and Disabilities Resource Center Advisory Board and St. Luke’s Parish Council. He was married on September 7, 1974 to the former Donna (Yanke) Kindschi.

Survivors include, his wife, Donna Soeldner of Plain, four children, Lynn Bloomquist of Delaware, Ohio, Lyle (Sue) Kindschi of Loganville, Luanne Kindschi of Spring Green, Bill (Tara) Kindschi of Loganville; seven grandchildren, Angie (Mark) Merrin, Jenny (Ryan) McQuillen, Lisa (Marty) Pertzborn, Leon Kindschi, Darren (Kristin) Radel, Deanna (Philip) Meinholz, Levi Kindschi; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen Soeldner of Plain, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private family graveside service will be held at St. Luke’s Catholic Cemetery in Plain.

She was born Dec. 11, 1942, the daughter of the Milton and Bernice Yanke. Darleen was married to her loving husband Niel Rischmueller on June 29, 1975; he preceded her in death on July 19, 2014. Dar worked for the Sauk Prairie School District as the Principal’s Secretary for 37 years. She was a member of the Denzer United Methodist Church, Baraboo Elks and past member of the Honey Creek Rod and Gun Club. Dar enjoyed many years of camping at the Double KD Ranch and at the Sportsman’s Lodge in Birchwood. She loved to fish and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Dar is survived by her children, Debra (Lauren) Gagner, Sue Ann (TJ Ballweg) Schwanke, Curt (Wendy) Rischmueller, Carri (Dave) Taylor, and Cathy (Doug) Wirth; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; very close friends, Jim and Donna Pfaff and friend Frank Fisher. She is further survived by her siblings, Russell and Jeanette Yanke, Donna and Ralph Soeldner, Gloria and Ed Meyer, Sharon and Philip Schuman.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce White and her father and mother in-law, John and Florence Rischmueller.

Dar’s family would like to thank the staff at Meadow Ridge Senior Living and the Agrace Hospice Staff for their compassionate care.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Sat. Mar. 18, 2017 at Denzer United Methodist Church. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
