Born Dec. 31, 1953, in Madison, to Leo and Phyllis (Schalbe) Mousseau. Celeste married Dan Laufenberg Aug. 11, 1973, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Ashton. Worked with St. Marys Hospital as a distributor of Goldshield-Elite Nutrition products.

Member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and it's Council of Catholic Women and volunteered for many church activities. She had a wide variety of interests including sewing, baking, making crafts, farming, canning and decorating. Celeste appreciated the outdoors, especially tending her flowers and garden and also enjoyed backpacking, camping, hunting, the mountains and northern Wisconsin, but loved most of all, the time spent with her family.

In addition to her husband, Dan; survivors include her children, Jessica Lynn of Cross Plains, Jared Scott (Laura Devai) of Stillwater, Okla., and Koty John of Cross Plains; her sister, Michelle (John) Lehman of Madison; two brothers, Christopher Mousseau of Montello, and Joel Mousseau; two very close people in her life, Jerome and Mary Ann Adler of Middleton; a niece, Tina Paddock; and other nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, James Brad and John Mousseau.

A Mass of Christian Burial at ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2947 Thinnes St., Cross Plains, WI.
