He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Edna; two brothers, Reinhold Meyer and an infant brother; sisters Emma Meyer and Elda Raedel; sisters-in-law, Olga Reinfeldt, Hazel Steinhorst and Selma Rathman; brothers-in-law, Herbert Krueger, Edward Schulte, Ewald Muchow, Cleo Reinfeldt, Ewald Rathman, Martin Harms, Erwin Marion, Reinhardt Meyer and Herman Raedel. He is survived by his son, Evert Meyer, Reedsburg; two sisters, Lorene Harms, Reedsburg, and Irene Marion, Reedsburg; a brother-in-law, Henry Steinhorst, Reedsburg; three sisters-in-law, Irma Krueger, Reedsburg, Cleona Schulte, Loganville, and Viola Muchow, Reedsburg; many nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Erwin Otto Meyer were conducted on Tuesday, April 29, 2003, at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Reedsburg with Reverend Kevin J. Kohnke officiating. Burial followed in St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials of remembrance may be made to St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church of Reedsburg. The Farber Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
