He was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran church, an honorary member of Plywood and Veneer Workers Local 2554 and a member of the Santiam Fish and Game association. He is survived by his wife Laura; two daughters, Mrs. Diana Stanley of Eugene and Nancy Vesper of Portland; two brothers, Charles of Lebanon, and Leo of Albany; three sisters: Mrs. Carries McNaughtan of Corvallis, Mrs. Marcelia Cameron of Salem, and Mrs. Laval Haenfler of Avon; and two grandchildren.
