Cecile was born May 6, 1923 in the Town of Hansen, Wood County, WI to Albert and Christine (Larsen) Stake. She married David Woodruff on June 11, 1958 at St. James Catholic Church in Vesper.

She worked at Preway Inc, Woodruff Lumber Company, JcPenney, and the paper mill.

Cecile enjoyed reading the newspaper and mystery novels. She loved cats, dogs and horses and feeding and watching the birds. She also enjoyed gardening and tending to her African violets and other indoor plants. Cecile liked antiquing and bargain hunting at local rummage sales and area flea markets. She loved to listen to music, especially big band and rock and roll.

Cecile is survived by her children: Catherine Woodruff and David Woodruff; grandchildren: Brianna Woodruff and Derek Woodruff; sister, Carol Pfeiffer; and brother, Albert Stake. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Irene Shumsky and Mary and Mildred Buchholz; and brothers: Raymond and William Stake.

He was born May 12, 1942, in Harrisburg, IL to Hazel and Joseph Robson. Later he moved to Harvard, IL where he graduated from Harvard High School in 1960. He attended Chicago Machine Accounting College. He had been a member of the Illinois National Guard and became a communications sergeant. Jerry married Kathleen Kaney on July 25, 1970, at the First United Methodist Church of Harvard.

Jerry enjoyed working in electronics. Later he was employed at A.A. Anderson in Harvard and Sears of Rockford. After losing his business, Robson Radio and Electric, in a fire, he was employed at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home in Harvard. He was happiest installing sound equipment for friends and spending time with his family. He loved joking with friends and telling stories from his life.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Robson; children, Stephanie (Adam) Kasten, Amy (Matthew) Stech; grandchildren, AJ and Morgan Kasten, Caitlyn and Leah Stech; siblings, Phyllis (Charles) Koltz, Jan (Peggy) Robson; several nieces and nephews; and grandnieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hazel and Joseph Robson

Friends may greet the family from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Tuesday, December 22, at First United Methodist Church of Harvard, 1100 N. Division St. Harvard followed by the memorial service at 12:00 noon. The burial will be at a later date in the family cemetery, Unity Cemetery, Harvard, IL.
