Jared was born on April 14, 1984, in Dubuque the son of Richard and Connie (Moore) Fondell. He attended Dubuque Senior High School and did construction work in the Dubuque area for many years. He later was working for Jeld-Wen Window and Door.

He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing, working with his hands with nature, riding his quad and spending time with his pets.

He is survived by two children, Asia and Kayo, his father Richard “Rick” Fondell, of Gilman, his mother Connie (Robert) Maser, of Des Moines, two sisters Melissa (Nicholas) Birch, of Sherrill, and Olivia Lyons Fondell, of Gilman. A step-brother Shane Anderson, serving with the US Marine Corps. His paternal grandmother Mary Ellen Fondell, of Dubuque and his maternal grandmother Wilma Jean Billmeyer, of Dubuque and a special friend Katrina Milton

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Richard A. Fondell Sr. and Richard Moore.

Baumgarten, age 85, of Reedsburg, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Casa de Oakes in Reedsburg after many years of fighting cancer. She was born on December 10, 1935, the daughter of Edward and Blanche (Wright) Licht. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter’s Church in Loganville. On August 7, 1954, she was united in marriage to Marlin L. Baumgarten. She graduated from Reedsburg High School in 1953 and began her first job at The Reedsburg Bank. Mary worked at Hankscraft Gerber beginning in the order department, ending as Accounts Payable and Payroll supervisor: The Don Luehrsen Insurance Agency and ended her working career as a Phone Sales Representative for Lands End. In her retirement she was a Partner volunteer at RAMC and also worked at the polls for elections. Her hobbies included sewing, knitting, crocheting angels and snowflakes, crafting and baking and was well known for her daffodil cake, divinity candy and Christmas cookies.



She is survived by her children: Vickie (Jim) Wheeler, Debra (Mick) Smith, Sheryl Baumgarten and Ronald (Mary) Baumgarten; her grandchildren: Nicholas (Ericka) Meyer and their children: Nathan and Emma; Erin (Jeff) Mitchell and her step-great grandchildren: Tyler and Cassie; Randi Petty and her children: Robert, Michael and Zachary; her niece: Michelle (Lon) Hackett; her sisters-in-law: Shirley Baumgarten and Doris (Phil) Fish; numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin, in 1992; her parents; her sister: Barbara Gibbons; mother and father-in-law: Herbert and Elva Baumgarten and brothers-in-law Kenneth and Gordon Baumgarten.



Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Reedsburg with Pastor Beth Voigt officiating. A private family burial service will be in St. John Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Saturday at the church. In lieu of plants and flowers, memorials to the Carbone Cancer Research Center or St. John Lutheran Church would be appreciated.

She was born on January 11, 1951 in Plain, WI the daughter of Alfred and Helen Marie (Zeller) Kraemer.

Diane graduated from River Valley High School in 1969. She started working at Kummus Manufacturing in 1980 and the company changed names to Elm Grove Dairy to Land O’ Lakes to Dean Foods to Hilltop Valley Dairy to Schreiber Foods where she was a purchasing agent. Diane retired in 2017. Diane was a mother of two, grandmother of five and great grandmother of three. She married the love of her life, Carl Ederer on March 25, 2017. Even though their time together was short, the memories they made and shared were enough to last a lifetime. Diane was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed being with her co-workers and spending time with family and friends. One of Diane’s favorite things was hosting Friday coffee clutch with family and friends on her beautiful patio. Diane took a lot of pride of her home. Diane enjoyed baking; her pies were noted to be famous. Diane never gave up an opportunity to travel with her husband, family, and friends. It was very important for her that her two children were happy and that she taught them to be selfless and take care of themselves. She was the biggest fan and cheerleader of her grandkids from sporting events to big life events, never afraid to give her opinion and always there to support them.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Ederer of Plain; 2 children, Rochelle (Mark) Schmidt of Richland Center, Chad (Sherry) Mueller of Richland Center; grandchildren, Zachery (Ashley Miller) Schmidt, Samuel Schmidt, Santana (Justin) Bristol, Max Schmidt, Diana Fruit; great grandchildren, Leanne, Sebastian, Sophie; siblings, Patti Czechanski, Marty (Linda) Kraemer, Karl (Kris) Kraemer, Douglas (Stephanie) Kraemer, Kevin (Diane) Kraemer, Camille (Tim) Murphy, Lois (Jim) Schweiss, Maureen Kraemer, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Helen Marie Kraemer; brother-in-law, Mike Czechanski, and nephew, Chris Kraemer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Plain, WI. Fr. Garrett Kau will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the church from 4:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. and again on Friday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of Mass.

Debra was born on May 28, 1954, in Reedsburg, the daughter of Wilmer and Esther (Meyer) Knuth. She graduated from Baraboo High School in 1973. She attended cosmetology school and worked as a beautician for several years before she was employed by Woodman’s food market for the next 24 years in Janesville. Upon retiring, Debra enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren, camping, gardening, scrapbooking and spending time with beloved friends and family.

Debra is survived by her husband of 43 years, Dale Schwanke; two children and their families, Daphne (Steve ) Knox and Darrin (Andrea) Schwanke; four grandchildren: Colby, Courtney, Brice and Kendra; as well as six siblings: Diana Mielke, Donna (Walter) Ramsey, Darletta (Paul) Muehlbrad, Duane Knuth, Dale Knuth and Dennis Knuth.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Daniel Mielke.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at St John Lutheran Church, E7513 Highway C, North Freedom, with Rev. Eric Hartenberger officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the church. Interment will be at St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery following the service.
