Tom was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Huber Heights where he very much enjoyed “Doughnut Sundays.” He was a veteran of the U. S. Army; a life member of the NRA; an avid hunter & outdoorsman; and he volunteered with the Spring Valley Wildlife Area. He retired from Dayton Children’s Hospital – Radiology Department.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of the past 52 years, Judith E. “Judy” (Gall) Beck; two children, Michele Beck & Brian Beck (Amy); two grandchildren, Jordan Castro & Emily Molina; three siblings, James Beck (Dolly), Robert Beck (Deborah) & Nancy Dennison (Dr. Daniel); and by his extended family & many good friends.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday (4/16) at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Rev. Bobbie Predmore will officiate. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Gerald Orlan Henry was born on August 11, 1934 in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of William and Rosella (Janzen) Henry. He was a 1952 graduate of East Dubuque High School. He also attended the University of Dubuque. He married Cherie Mitchley on May 10, 1958 in Dubuque.

Jerry served in the United States Army from 1955-1957. He was a salesman for AY McDonald Supply for many years, retiring in 1999. He was a member of Lyons United Methodist Church, the Oddfellows, Lyons Masonic Lodge, Clinton Scottish Rite Bodies, KAABA Shrine, and the Clinton High 12 Club. He was an avid Chicago Cub and Bears fan. He enjoyed coaching his son's little league baseball teams and never missed one of their sporting events. He also enjoyed fishing in Minnesota.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Cherie of Clinton; three sons: Bill (Linda) Henry of West, Texas, Tim (Amy Fritzke) Henry of Mound, Minnesota, and Mike (Donna) Henry of Mansfield, Texas; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
His laugh will be missed by all who knew him.

Glen grew up in Seymour Township in Lafayette County, WI where he attended Wardsville School. After school, he moved to Apple River, IL where he farmed until 1971 when he bought a farm in rural Belmont where he farmed until 1988. Glen then began working for various companies including Farm & Fleet, Southwest Supply, Walnut Hollow, Darlington Dairy Supply, and Woodward Printing. In 1997, Glen moved into the Village of Belmont where he has resided since.

Glen is survived by his children: Debbie (Harry Lee) Blackbourn of Shullsburg, WI, Jeff (Vicki) Wiegel of Zachary, LA, Mike (Penny) Wiegel and Tracy Wiegel both of Belmont, and Brad (Patricia) Wiegel of Shullsburg; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way; two sisters: Helen (Mike) Lind of Florida and Mary Mulcahy of Rockford, IL; sisters-in-law: Pat Wiegel of Dubuque, IA and Tenny Wiegel of Madison, WI; and a special friend: Donna Linden of Belmont. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Carl Wiegel and Paul Wiegel; a brother and sister in infancy; and one brother-in-law: Charles Mulcahy.

Glen was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Seymour Township and St. Philomena Catholic Church in Belmont. He enjoyed spending his free time outdoors hunting, fishing, boating, riding his motorcycle, ATVing, and camping up in Black River Falls, WI.

A private family Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, January 28, 2022 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church (10962 County Rd O, Shullsburg WI 53586) with Fr. Luke Syse officiating. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery. The Erickson Funeral Home in Shullsburg is serving the family.

He enjoyed watching movies and collecting movie memorabilia, and no one knew classic cars better than he did. Paul was always joking and was always having a good time, and he had a laugh that would make you smile. He loved to impersonate people, and we will miss all the characters who were in him.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Tenny; best friend, Douglas (Joanne) Malisch; mother-in-law, Jane Marvin; sisters, Mary Mulcahy and Helen (Mike) Lind; and brother, Glen Wiegel.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Wiegel; mother Clara Wiegl; brother, Carl Wiegel; father-in-law, George Marvin; and brother-in-law, Charles Mulcahy.

A Celebration of Paul’s Life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019, with food and fellowship during the celebration.
