She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Ralph.

A private graveside service will be held in the St. Luke’s Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

Casey was born in Reedsburg, Wisconsin to Dan and Kathy (McHenry) Mundth November 1, 1975.

Casey was a 1994 graduate of Reedsburg High School. He was an avid sports enthusiast and especially enjoyed watching the Packers, Cubs, and his nieces’ and nephews’ sporting events. He loved his family and friends and especially adored his dog Loki. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and making maple syrup. His yearly sturgeon fishing trips with his good buddy was something he looked forward to most. His prize catch was on Rainy River where he battled and caught a 60 inch sturgeon. Casey was the life of any party drawing the attention of the crowd as he methodically did the worm. He was always up for a competitive game of euchre or a roll of the dice.

He is survived by his parents Dan and Kathy Mundth, his sisters Tonya (Jamie) Brandt, Katie (Grant) Westerman and Brooke (Chad) Schakelman; nieces and nephews, Caden, Carsen and Kate Brandt, Ryan Westerman, and Kensley, Calder, and Beckett Schakelman as well as beloved aunts and uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Casey was preceded in death by his grandparents Hubert and Margaret (Brickl) Mundth, Kenneth and Ramona (Decot) McHenry, uncles and aunt Tony and Vickie (McHenry) Wiseman and Allen Mundth.

Visitation will be held at Grasse Funeral Home in Reedsburg Saturday, March 11 from 10 to 1 PM with the memorial service immediately following with Father Patrick Wendler presiding. A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at the Reedsburg Outdoor Club from 2 to 6 PM.

Ruth was born on November 18, 1935, to Roy & Hortense (Hemmer) Lynch in Holy Cross, IA. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic School, in Fillmore, IA and graduated from Cascade High School. She married David Kruser on October 25, 1955, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fillmore, IA. Ruth enjoyed farming, gardening, canning, reading, sewing, playing cards and games, volunteering at church, school and community, traveling in the motorhome, attending grandchildren’s events. She was an excellent cook, especially her exceptional Christmas cookies and date-nut bread. She enjoyed time with family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, David; 7 children: David (Leslie) Kruser, Steven (Cindy) Kruser, Timothy (Yvonne) Kruser, Mark (Kay) Kruser, Jayne (Todd) Kane, Brian Kruser and Erinn Kruser; 16 grandchildren: Natalie Kruser, Alex Kruser, Keith Kruser, Kelli (Ben) Wood, Kari (Trent) Leaf, Tyler (Maria) Kruser, Cecilia (Erik) Thunberg, Kristian (Jessica) Kruser, Kristi Kruser, Justin Kane, Adam (Katie) Kane, Kyle (Stephanie) Kane, Ethan Kane, Cody Kruser, Malcolm Kruser & Micah Abdul Kruser; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Rita Fischer; 2 sisters-in-law: Carol Cherrey & Marie Williamson; a brother-in-law: Harvey (Diane) Duve; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, George & Cecelia Kruser, 4 siblings & spouses: Eldon (Glendoris) Lynch, Robert (Patricia) Lynch, Maxine (Eugene) Boffeli and Richard (Susan) Lynch; the following in-laws: Olive Ann (Leander) Kieler, Eloise (Donald) Hinderman, Donna Mae (Francis) Reuter, Paul Fischer, Theodore (Patti) Kruser, Frederick Kruser, Darrell “Bud” Cherrey and a grandson-in-law, Rick Wachsmuth.

Surviving are his wife Carolyn; sons Ryan, Iowa City, IA, Eric and Craig, both of Sherrill; His mother Eloise Hinderman, Keiler, WI; brothers Gerald (Joyce), Baraboo, WI, Alan (Bev), Sherrill, and Mark (Lorinda), Potosi, WI; a sister Cheryl Saeugling, Dubuque.

He was preceded in death by his father, a brother Dalen, and a sister Doris Timmerman.
