They made their home in Madison where they raised five children. Larry and Agnes were charter members of St. Dennis Catholic Church and were members of the East Side Club for many years. She loved to play games, especially cards, and tried her luck at several casinos. Agnes worked for JC Penney for 22 years before retiring at age 63. She was an avid Packers and Badgers fan and enjoyed the annual high school State basketball tournaments. She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband Larry throughout their 58 years of marriage.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence in 2010; sister, LaVera Krueger; and brother, Ernest Schenck.

Harold proudly served his country in World War II. He joined the army in March of 1942. He spent a total of 28 months overseas in Africa, Indonesia, Italy, and the Yugoslavian border. While in Italy he was shot and wounded. He lay outside his foxhole for an entire day and night before being taken to a hospital. For his service he received a purple heart.
He was a lifetime member of the VFW and the DAV and a past president of Eagles Lodge 3511 in Decatur.
Surviving are his wife, daughter, Charlene (Alden) Chandler of Decatur, four grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Gary Reimer (April 30, 2002) and Billy Reimer (April 18, 2006) both of Decatur.
