Little Lois was a very fine little girl. A year ago last Winter, she became ill and it was discovered by physicians that she suffered from a brain tumor. She survived two very delicate brain operations but all medical and surgical skill were not able to bring healing to the little patient Lois. During her short stay with her parents, she was a source of much joy and blessing to them. Her grieving parents will ever cherish the memories they have of the little Lois. Preceded in death by an infant brother, she is survied by her parents, a little sister, Lyle, grandparents, several uncles and aunts as well as cousins. Funeral services were held from the Larson home Monday, May 3, 1948, at 1:00pm and from the Roseni Lutheran church at 2:00pm, Pastor B. F. Moistre officiating. Richard Sommervold, Rodger Buum, James Fickbohm and Harold Ronning were pall bearers. At the services at the home Karen Larson and Mary Ann Siemore and Joan Laron sang "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam" and Daryl Fickbohm sang "My Beautiful Home."
