His body was found, face downward in the southeast room of the house. He was pronounced dead by Coroner Dr. Ray Lyle. Mr. Anders was born at Van Buren Missouri on January 27, 1921, the son of the late John R. and Mary M Samples Anders. On May 28, 1949 he was united in marriage with Mrs. Leta Chadwick who survives at the home. also surviving are his son: Larry Don Anders and his daughter: Miss Karen Kay Anders of Kansas City; 2 step-children: Cleo Chadwick of Kansas City and Mrs. Loretta Witherell of Versailles; 3 brothers: Earl Anders of Waldern Missouri, Merris Anders of Kansas City and John L. Anders of Boone Iowa; a sister: Mrs. Florence Grisham of Platte City Missouri and 5 step-grandchildren. Mr. Anders was a Veteran of World War II.

The body was taken to a hospital in Springfield were an autopsy was performed. An inquest, scheduled for Tuesday was canceled. Mrs. Crabtree was born at Gravois Mills on November 6, 1939, the daughter of Thomas W. and Thelma Avery Hill. She was united in marriage with Herman Witthar, who preceded her in death. On August 5, 1961 she was married to Ira Crabtree Jr. who survives at the home. Also surviving are a daughter: Rebecca Ann Witthar of the home; a step-son: Rodney Crabtree of Sunrise Beach; her parents of Gravois Mills; a brother John F. To this union three
daughters were born Pearl Lucille, age 11, Opal Martzelle, age 9 and Freda Eilene, age 7. Mrs. Hachler was a kind Christian wife and mother and was loved by all who knew her. For the past few years she had lived in Saline and Cass Counties. Wherever she lived she was an active worker in community affairs and was never tiring in labors for those in need. She is survived by her husband, three daughters, her father and mother, a sister, Ellen who lives with her parents in this county and six brothers, James of Kansas City, Joe, Alpha, Curtis, Woodrow and Olney of the home. Besides these immediate relatives she is survived by a host of kindred and friends. The funeral Services were conducted by Dr. E E. Stringfield of the Presbyterian church Sunday afternoon, and the interment was in the Rastorfer cemetery where she awaits the Resurrection day.
