He worked in the oilfield as a truck driver, tool pusher, and drilling superintendent for Sojourner and DB Drilling and Links Drilling. His wife Bobby Saunders, and three sons, survive him; Ric, Roy and Rusty Saunders, one daughter in law Jamie, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
