Mrs. Gehrke was a sincere christian in her church and its services were very dear to her. She was an ideal mother, her first thought always being for her home and children, and they will indeed miss her in numberless ways. Besides her husband and nine children, she also leaves to mourn her loss two grandchildren, Ewalt Fuhlbohm and Delores Gehrke, two sisters, Mrs. Henry Klipp and Mrs. Will Zautke, and five brothers, Albert and Reinhold of Baraboo; George of London, Minnesota and August of Madison. The funeral was held Sunday at St. Johns in Ableman.
