With this, she wore a floor length veil and carried a bouquet of white mums, calla lilies and ferns.

Mrs. Fred Stambough was her sister’s matron of honor and wore a formal gown of gold colored silk, with matching mitts and plume headdress. Lucille Brown was bridesmaid, and wore chartreuse fashioned in floor length style, with which she wore a matching plume headdress and white mitts. The bride’s attendants carried bouquets of white mums and pink rosebuds.

The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Armin, as best man, and Burdette Lindeman, while Melvin Krey and Fred Stambough were the ushers

Mrs. Krey wore a teal blue dress to her daughter’s wedding, while the groom’s mother wore navy blue. Both wore corsages of yellow and white pompoms and pink rosebuds.

Death19 November 1934Warren Thadius DeCamp died on 19 November 1934 at Dallas, Iowa, at age 77 Warren Thadeus DeCamp, pioneer Dallas County resident who spent more than 70 years of his long life in this vicinity died at his home west of Adel , Monday morning at 4:45. Death was due to an attack of flu and pneumonia. While he had been in failing health for some time, he was able to be up and care for his work until Wednesday of last week. Mr. DeCamp was born in Indiana 77 years ago but came to Iowa when a lad of about five years , making the trip overland with his parents and crossing the Mississippi river on the ice in true pioneer fashion. The family located on a farm west of Adel and with the exception of a few years when he conducted a blacksmith shop in Adel that community has always been his home. Mr. DeCamp is survived by his wife, three sons and three daughters. They are: Orval DeCamp of Redfield; Mrs. C. F. Doerr of St. Louis; L. E. DeCamp of Adel; Mrs. C. W. Coulter, of Colfax: Orpha DeCamp, at home and Millford DeCamp of St. Louis. There is also one brother, Hi DeCamp of Topeka, Kansas, and several half brothers and sisters, Mrs. Emery Skinner of Adel ; Norman DeCamp of Des Moines; Lafe DeCamp of Redfield; Silas DeCamp of Redfield; Mrs. Hettie Welch of Des Moines; Mar shall DeCamp and Mrs. Annas Bennetson, both of whom live in California. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church in Redfield. Burial will be at Panther Creek cemetery.
