The bride was the daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Samuel Leder of Ulm. Their attendants were Adolph Leder and Elizabeth Leder, the bride's brother and sister. Mrs. Victor Beumer was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Schmidt. The Leder family had come to Ulm in 1881 from Pierron, Illinois. They moved by covered wagon on a boat down the Mississippi River to Helena and then on by wagon to Ulm. Emmelie Leder was one of 11 children of the John Leders. The George H. Schmidts moved to Stuttgart in the spring of 1885 with their nine daughters and one son from the Red Bud, Ill. area. The children of George and Emmelie Schmidt included: George, Louis, Mary, Amanda Lehmann of Gillett, twins Edward and Edna, Amelia Abel, Lena Holzhauer of Gillett, Henry G., Laura Beumer, Rudolph and George W.
