They were united in marriage on August 9, 1954, he survives in Hermann. Mrs. Schultz served with her husband in Lyman, Nebraska, Brazil, Faribault, Minnesota, Owensville, Missouri and Stony Hill, Missouri. In recent years she volunteered at the Gasconade County Archive and Record Center in Hermann indexing old German newspapers. She attended and enjoyed both Newport Presbyterian Church at Washington and St. James Evangelical Church at Stony Hill. She is survived by her parents Merton and Anna Zick of Praire du Sac, Wisconsin, her husband Valerius, two sons, John Schultz of Hermann and Philip Schultz and wife Jeanie of Morrison, Missouri, a brother Darwin Zick and wife Mary of Praire du Sac, a sister-in-law Carol Zick of Colgate, Wisconsin, a brother-in-law Max Schultz of Osage, Iowa, sister-in-law Helen Krampe and husband Dale of Marthasville, Missouri, sister-in-law Margaret Schultz of Washington, Missouri, three grandchildren and by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by two brothers Duane Zick and Gene Zick. Funeral Services was held at St. James Evangelical Church, Stony Hill, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 19th, with Rev. Tom Lloyd and Rev. John Allgaier officiating. Visitation was Friday after 5:00 p.m. at Toedtmann and Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann. Burial was at Bethany Cemetery, Berger, Missouri. Memorials may be given to Jim Isler Missionary or Bethany Cemetery. C/O Toedtmann and Grosse Funeral Home.

Marionmarried her late husband, Glendale Bluel in 1937, coming to Stoughtonin 1947, and together raised two sons and two daughters. Marion' s interests included: travel, crocheting, crossword puzzles, upholstering,dancing, furniture restoration, sewing, cake decorating and baking,cooking, cards and country music. She will be missed and not forgotten. Survivors include her two sons, Dale Blueland his special friend, Jane Lukitsch of Hartland and Ronald (Kathy)Bluel of Indianapolis, Ind; two daughters, Marcia Bluel of Stoughtonand Eileen Lathrop of Phoenix Ariz; three grandchildren, Kimberly (Bob)Hulett, Michael (Merilee) Bluel and Dave (Erin McGrath) Bluel; sevengreat-grandchildren, Brooke, Robert, Donovan, Jessica, Katelyn, Willand Faith; one great-great-grandchild, Chloe; three sisters, Anna (Merton)Zick of Prairie Du Sac, Florence Montague of New Berlin and Evelyn (George)Mark of East Berlin, Pa; and her other family, Jennie and Les Marinerand their children of Kenmare, N.D; and a god-daughter, Julaine Zeier.Marion was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her threebrothers, Wilbert, Marvin and August; and two sisters, Myrtle Hensenand Valitha Sprecher; as well as a special friend, Kenneth Bluel. Funeral services were held privately in Stoughton for the family with burial in the Zion Memorial Cemetery, Prairie Du Sac. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to HospiceCare and the Skaalen Home for the loving care given to Marion where donationsin her name would be welcome.
