Wayne was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Richland Center. He was a dairy farmer for 50 years and Bear Creek Town Chairman for 16 years. He taught CCD, was on the parish council and in the choir for many years at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Keyesville and at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Loreto. Wayne was a well known musician for 40 years starting at the age of 14 with the Faber Family Band then the Ederer Brothers Band and several other bands. He played the accordion for many weddings and barn dances and his signature song was "The Auctioneer." Survivors include, his wife, Marci Faber of Richland Center; nine children, Char Murphy of West Salem, Jo (Al) Knoeck of Naperville, Ill., Doug (Brenda) Faber of Plain, Lynn (Jody) Newkirk of Richland Center, Dwayne (Cathie) Faber of Hillpoint, Vicki Faber and Tom Peckham of Richland Center, Shelly (Randy) Schmidt of Lone Rock, Jacki Beatty of Holmen and Jason (Heather) Faber of Plain; 27 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; nine siblings, Norm (Marie) Faber of Richland Center, Father Emmett Faber of Bastrop, Texas, Mary Shields of Chula Vista, Calif., LaVerne (Donna) Faber of Hazel Green, Jerry (Dori) Faber of Lone Rock, Imelda (Harold) McCarthy of Chilton, Francis (Sue) Faber of McFarland, Sharon (Larry) Lampman of Newton, Kan., and Colleen (Robert) Hargrave of Houston, Texas; a brother-in-law, Melvin Eberle of Lone Rock; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Marie Faber; a brother, John Faber; two sisters, Genevieve Faber and Eileen Eberle. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at noon at ST. MARY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Richland Center. Father Emmanuel Famiyeh and Father Eric Burns will concelebrate. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Keyesville at a later date. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 14, 2011 at ST. MARY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Richland Center from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. where a parish rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic School or the Richland County Veterans Memorial Building Fund. The Stafford Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

She graduated from River Valley High School in Spring Green. After graduation, Erin started working at VARC in Reedsburg, where she made many new friends. She loved music, dancing, going out to eat and spending time with family and friends. Erin never had much to say, but whoever met her made a connection with her and fell in love with her cute little smile.

Erin is survived by her parents, Alan and Lauri Dischler of Plain; her sister, Kristen (Cole) Brunson; and their son, (Erin's nephew) Brayden Brunson of Plain; her grandparents, Dick and Nancy Fisher of Lone Rock, and Harlan Alt of Lone Rock; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gerhard and Rose Dischler of Plain; Rosy Alt of Lone Rock; and great-grandmother, Marian Rentz of Richland Center.

A Mass in Erin's memory will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at 11 a.m. at ST. LUKE'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Plain. Father Mike Resop and Father Raymond Dischler will concelebrate with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 13, 2011, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at ST. In addition to his wife, Delores, survivors include three daughters, Ann (Steven) Grob, Nancy Stapelman and Kathleen (Bryan) Chapin, all of Madison and two sons, Robin (Marie) Squires Jr. of DeForest, and Bruce (Kimberly) Squires of Madison; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Sheridan "Butch" (Dottie) Squires of Missouri; and four sisters, Barbara Klang of Black Earth, Joyce (Bill) Quinn and Rosie (Harlan) Alt, both of Lone Rock, and Ardyce (Paul) Weichbrod of Cross Plains. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son-in-law, Perry; two brothers; and a sister. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2005, at the CRESS FUNERAL HOME, where friends may call from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday and again on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Death8 May 2021David John Ruhland died on 8 May 2021 at age 74 David J. Ruhland, age 74, of Reedsburg, died suddenly on Saturday, May 8, 2021 in his residence. He was born on October 4, 1946 in Reedsburg, the son of Harold J. and Cecilia C. (Brickl) Ruhland. He was a 1964 graduate of the River Valley High School. David worked at Grede Foundry for over thirty years. He enjoyed working with his bees and had also enjoyed fishing and hunting in his younger years.



Survivors include his siblings: Helen Bauer, of Plain; Marian (Dean) Burmester, of LaValle; and Karen (Gene) Beth, of Rock Springs; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: James H. Ruhland.

A private family graveside service will be held.

The Hoof Funeral Home is serving the family.
