  • Hubert F. Harrison died on 6 November 2008 at age 91 Born to Eternal Life on Thurs., Nov. 6, 2008. Beloved husband of Eileen (nee Schuette) Harrison. Loving father of James (Gayle) Harrison of Eden Prairie, MN and Patricia Robinson of Pewaukee, WI. Fond grandfather of seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by two brothers, one sister, other relatives and friends. Hubie retired from the A&P Tea Company in 1977, having worked in both store management and district supervision. In 1978, he joined the staff of Luther Manor. He spent sixteen years there as director of purchasing. He was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church of Wauwatosa, WI, Luther Manor Auxiliary and the Alonzo Cudworth Legion Post, No. 23. During WWII he served in the military in the Armored Replacement Training Command at Fort Knox, KY. Hubie enjoyed people and during his lifetime made many friends who will remember him and miss him. Visitation at ST. MATTHEWS LUTHERAN CHURCH (1615 Wauwatosa Ave.), Thurs., Nov. 13, 2008, 11:00 AM-1:00 PM. Funeral Service 1:00 PM with the Rev. Gary Erickson officiating. Burial Wisconsin Memorial. If desired, memorials may be made to Luther Manor or St. Matthews Lutheran Church.
