On March 29, 1952 she was united in marriage to Frank Mullarkey in Milwaukee, WI. Mary worked at White Springs Supper Club in McGregor for thirty-three years. Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother who always put her family first. She was a die-hard Cubs fan, avid quilter and great cook making many family favorites including dinner rolls, pies and jellies. Mary is survived by six children, Mike (Deb) Mullarkey of Richland Center, WI, Pat (Julie) Mullarkey of McGregor, IA, Colleen (Mike) Loetz of Cherokee, IA, Jim (Starla) Mullarkey of Ft. Myers Beach, FL, Kathy (Brian) Atkinson of Pardeeville, WI, Sharon (Sean) Burke of McGregor, IA; twelve grandchildren, Steve (Michelle) Mullarkey, Dave Mullarkey, Ben (Alicia) Mullarkey, Pete (Aleshia) Mullarkey, Patty (Andy) Fettkether, Dave (Devin) Loetz, Matt Loetz, Nicki (Jake) Glassmaker, Bailey Mullarkey, Danielle Atkinson, Brandon Burke, Bryce Burke; five great grandchildren, Emily, Summer, Parker, Kinzie, and Chase. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Leone Walsh, Joe Rego, Bob (LaVonne) Rego, Alice (Ron) Cowley, Harold (Florence) Rego, Jim Mann, and Roy (Judy) Rego. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Amanda Harms; and a brother, Henry Harms. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH in Spring Green. The Rev. He was born on Sept. 5, 1922, at home in Sauk County, a son of Henry and Amanda Peters Harms. He was baptized on Sept. 24, 1922, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Loganville, Wis. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1941 to 1945 as an airplane mechanic in World War II. On June 6, 1946, he married Ellen Kuhnau in North Freedom. He farmed with his wife in Sauk County, moving to Mayville with his family in 1964. At Mayville he worked for Purity Cheese Company, Wisconsin Drainage and at various farms doing seasonal work. Survivors include his wife, Ellen of Mayville; three daughters, Mary (Larry) Maas of Sturgeon Bay, Sharon (Craig) Kelly of Madison and Christine (Danny O’Rourke) Harms of Salt Lake City, Utah; two sisters, Ruth Tietje and Caroline Robson, both of Wisconsin; four brothers, Reinhard (Irene) Harms, Edward (Lucille) Harms, Armond (Donna) Harms and Raymond (Ione) Harms, all of Wisconsin; six grandchildren, Todd (Chris) Maas, Melissa Kelly, Tyler Maas, Heather Kelly, Kealan O’Rourke and Tiernan O’Rourke; and two great-grandchildren, Trent and Trey Maas. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two children, Peggy and David.
