She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Rena Griner, Doris Goodall, Marguerite Goin, Harold Goin, Earl Emmerson Goin and Mary Jane Niemann. Survivors include three nieces, Ingrid Goin of Norway, Donna Lee Page of New Mexico, and Sunnye Espinosa of Illinois; a nephew, James Wesley Griner of Florida; great-nieces and nephews, Steve and Curt Espinosa, Donna Grosz, and Becky, Bruce and Michael Page; and a brother-in-law, Maurice C. Niemann of Camdenton, Missouri. She was raised in Dewitt County, Illinois and attended school there. After graduation, she moved to Chicago where she remained for most of her adult life. While in Chicago she worked as an auditor for Fred Harvey's restaurants. She retired to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1960. While at the lake, she worked part-time in the title office at Phillips and McElyea. She had also served as an election judge in Linn Creek. She enjoyed quiet times and the simple things of life. In her spare time, she enjoyed golf and had been a member of Lake Valley Country Club. She also enjoyed doing word puzzles. Ruby was a loving aunt and sister-in-law and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2008, in Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri. Memorials to Parkinson's Disease Foundation may be made through the funeral home.

Peter, the son of Raymond and Eileen (Gullickson) Scheel, was born March 8, 1961, in Madison. As a young boy he moved with his family to the town of Cleveland, Jackson County. Peter entered the U.S. Army and served his country from 1980 until his honorable discharge in 1995. He returned to the Osseo area and purchased a hobby farm where he enjoyed his animals, his garden and the wildlife that surrounded him. Peter married Cynthia Sue Lahner on June 4, 2006, at his farm in Osseo. Peter was commander of Craig S. Olson VFW Post 8514 in Osseo, volunteered with Special Olympics and was a member of Osseo Rod and Gun Club and Whitetail Deer Management. Peter is survived by his wife, Cindy; his daughter, who was the light of his life, Autum; three stepdaughters, Amanda L. Lahner, Ashlee S. Lahner and Amber L. Lahner, all of Osseo; three grandchildren, Rome Rauter, Trysten Beribeau and Addison Lahner; one brother, Richard (Sandy) Scheel of Madison; one sister, Rae (Joe) Pettis of Osseo; two nephews, Justin and Josh Pettis of Osseo; birth mother, Karen (Don) Zick of North Freedom; birth father, Harlan (Ursula) Young of Verona; three half brothers, Rolland (Cori) Zick, Robert (Beth Ann) Zick and Randy Zick; one half sister, Roxann (Dan) Small; several half nieces and nephews. Peter had many friends because he was a true friend himself. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2006, at United Church of Christ in Osseo, with the Rev.
