He had been a resident of Belmont for 26 years. He farmed in both North and South Dakota and was a retired farmer. Survivors are two daughter, Mrs. William Swart of Belmont, with whom he made his home and Miss Maude Hinman of Verona; four sisters Mrs. Harriet Bonikowski of Bear Creek, Wisconsin, Mrs. Bessie Jensen of Kenmare, North Dakota, Mrs. Ethel Higgings, 1020 Spaight Street, Madison, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Ellen Riddle of Platteville, Wisconsin; one brother High Hinman of Blue Mounds, Wisconsin; three grandsons and seven great grandchildren.
  • He was buried after 13 April 1960 at Greenwood Cemetery, Platteville, Grant, Wisconsin.
