He worked at Grede Foundry for 27 years, retiring in 1993. He enjoyed being outdoors, mowing his yard, helping on his son’s farm, raising horses, and hunting coon and deer.

    He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn (Harrison) Bauer, two infant children, his parents, two brothers and three sisters.

    He is survived by his sister, Yvonne (Bob) Straka of Reedsburg. He is also survived by his children, Eugene Bauer of Lime Ridge, David (Tammy) Bauer of Hillpoint, Vincent (Denise) Bauer of Lime Ridge, Mary (Richard) Robel of Reedsburg, and Melissa (Matt) Krueger of Lime Ridge; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services for Eugene Bauer will be conducted on at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 17, 2015 at the Cazenovia Chapel in Cazenovia with Deacon Ron Pickar officiating. Burial will be made in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Germantown. Friends may call on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the chapel.

Ruth graduated from Reedsburg High School and Sauk County Teachers College, and attended UW LaCrosse. She taught elementary school in Sauk County for 30 years. On December 30, 1951, Ruth was united in marriage to Gale R. Krug at the First Presbyterian Church, Reedsburg. Gale preceded her in death on April 12, 2000. Gale and Ruth built and operated the Copper Springs Motel in Reedsburg for many years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Reedsburg, where she was the Past President of the Presbyterian Women. She enjoyed solving crossword puzzles in the daily newspaper, crocheting and traveling. Above all, she enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

    She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Percy and Archie Pearson; step-mother, Zelpha Pearson.

    Ruth is survived by her daughter, Leslie Parkhurst of Reedsburg;

    Grandchildren: Amanda (Charles) Goodrich of Wisconsin Dells,

    Allen Lange of Reedsburg;

    Great grandchildren: Darius, Logan and Carlie Goodrich;

    Brother, Donald Pearson of LaValle;

    Sisters-in-law, Mida Pearson of Reedsburg,

    Shirley (Lenny) Peterson of Ironton;

    Several nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends.

    We celebrate Ruth’s life with a memorial service at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 8, 2012, at the First Presbyterian Church, Reedsburg, with Pastor Joseph Corbin officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Reedsburg. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church and on Friday from 12 noon until the time of the service at the church. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in lieu of flowers.

Donnelley in Baraboo for 13 years. He loved to cook and hunt and was an amazing father who enjoyed spending time with his children, especially teaching them to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda, his father, Gilbert, a sister, Louise Bauer and an infant daughter, Megan.

    He is survived by his mother, Viola of Reedsburg;

    We honor his life with a funeral service on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 12 noon in the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg with Pastor David Glesne officiating. Burial with Military rites will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Reedsburg. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.     the time she spent with her family - camping, playing games, or simply being together.

    She was also preceded in death by her parents; four children in infancy, including a set of twins; brother, Eldor Buelow; sister, Beverly Buelow; sons-in-law, Robert Losic and Timothy Collins.
