She was the daughter of Anthony H. Misslich and Imelda M. Thering.
Death27 June 2014Rose Marie Misslich died on 27 June 2014 at age 63 Rosie Marie Ederer, age 63, died peacefully on Friday, June 27, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Rosie was born in Ithaca, Wis., on Nov. 24, 1950. As the youngest sibling, she kept her family on their toes. She had no fear as she would ride her horse around bareback. At 18, she met her beloved Carl Ederer and married a year later. Their combined love of farming and gardening brought them great comfort. They would have celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on July 18, 2014. Her children were her pride and joy. Dan, a dedicated firefighter, inherited her devotion. Maria obtained her mom's passion for cooking and gardening, Sarah, with her caring nature and strength, and Jeff, his curiosity and boldness to try new adventures. Her never-ending love of her grandkids, Tyler and Katie, is something they will carry with them forever. Most summer days you could find Rosie cruising around town in her red convertible mustang. She and Carl were happiest enjoying many evenings dancing and listening to music at Arthur's in Spring Green. Rosie worked at the St. Vincent de Paul Resource Center/Good Neighbor Clinic in Prairie du Sac for the past 10 years, where she became dear friends with Bill and MaryAnn O'Brien. Rosie will be deeply missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her husband, Carl; her son, Dan (Rhonda); daughters, Maria (Kevin) and Sarah (Steven); and youngest son, Jeff (Jenny). She is also survived by her beautiful grandchildren, Tyler and Katie; her mother, Imelda; brother, Tony (Rosie) Misslich, Robert (Jane) Misslich, Betty (Jerry) Stibbe and MaryAnn (Greg) Sarge; niece, Andrea; and nephews, Brian, Shane, Jeremy and Matt. She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Misslich. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014, at 11 a.m. at ST. LUKE'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Plain. Father Mike Resop will officiate with burial in the church cemetery following Mass. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at ST. LUKE'S CATHOLIC CHURCH from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and again on Thursday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass.
