She is also survived by nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 8th 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoof Funeral Home (312 N Park St, Reedsburg, WI 53959). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 9th 2021 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (727 8th St, Baraboo, WI 53913).

Lawrence was born on April 3, 1930, in Honey Creek Township of Sauk County, the son of Alfred and Ida (Wawrok) Raedel.

He attended Elder Ridge Grade School and graduated from Reedsburg High School. In April of 1956, he married Ruth Alsmo in McFarland. Lawrence was a farmer for many years and also worked at Big Joe Manufacturing in Wisconsin Dells as a welder.

He was a handyman, able to fix anything, including his hobbies of restoring old cars and Farmall H and M tractors. He loved farming and enjoyed raising beef cattle.

His favorite things to do were big game hunting of which he harvested moose, bighorn sheep, elk and mule deer, in his travels of British Columbia, Canada, and the Western United States. Lawrence was a wonderful and loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Ruth; sons, Keith L. (Carolyn) Raedel and Kevin L. (Karen) Raedel, both of Wisconsin Dells; brothers, Alfred W. (Robin) Raedel of Wisconsin Dells, and Vernon Raedel of Prairie du Sac; sisters, Helen I. (Fred Martin) Meske of North Freedom, and Evelyn Leake of Baraboo; grandchildren, Keith L (fiance, Jackie Van Wagner) Raedel Jr., Calvin (fiance, Elisabeth Geymann) Raedel, Milynda S. Raedel, and Jacob L. Raedel; and step-grandchildren, Kevin and Adrienne Strange.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 17, 2006, at 11 a.m. at BETHANY LUTHERAN CHURCH in Wisconsin Dells, with the Rev. Craig Wolfgram officiating. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells.

Survivors include his wife of sixty years: Irma; four children: Robert (Kim) Harder, of Rosamond, California; Douglas (Lori) Harder, of Reedsburg; Sue (Daniel) Brylla, of Reedsburg and William Harder, of Austin, Texas; his daughter-in-law: Christina (Jon) Hammond, of Reedsburg; nine grandchildren; one great granddaughter; his sister: Audrey Hamburg, of Freeport, Illinois; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son: Dennis Harder, in March 1998 and three brothers: Rupert, Herbert and Melvin. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 17, 2012 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Loganville with Pastor David Glesne officiating. Military rites by the Reedsburg V.F.W. will follow the service. Interment will be in the Garden Bluff Cemetery, rural Lodi, at a later date. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday at the Hoof Funeral Home in Reedsburg. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
