She graduated from Dell Rapids High School in 1952. She married Dale Huewe on February 14, 1953 in Dell Rapids. They made their home on their farm east of Dell Rapids for 34 years. They retired in 1987 and moved into Sioux Falls in 1988. Dale passed away in 2015. She became a resident of Bethany Home at Brandon in April of 2017. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Dell Rapids and later St. Michael Catholic Church in Sioux Falls. She was active with Sioux Valley Vocational Services Auxiliary. Kathleen is preceded in death by her brother, Wes and her parents. Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Pam (Marlon) Mollet of Sioux Falls and Stacy (Darin) DeBoer of Brandon; her three sons, Randy (June) Huewe of Creston, IA, Gregg (Laurie) Huewe of Dell Rapids, and Cory Huewe of Sioux Falls; and her twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
