Born October 9, 1936, in Longwood, MO, he was the son of the late Joseph A. Mullineaux and Lola Camellia Scott Mullineaux. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, retiring from the Marine Corps in 1974, and was a member of Sweet Springs American Legion Post 279 and the VFW Post in Sedalia. On February 7, 1957, in Sedalia, he married Evelyn M. Fry who survives of the home. He had lived in Sweet Springs since 1974 and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Terry Lee Mullineaux of Sweet Springs, Elizabeth (Lisa) Plummer and husband Richard of Sweet Springs, Robert W. Mullineaux, Jr. and wife Amy of rural Sedalia and David E. Mullineaux and wife Jessi of rural Houstonia; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, James Mullineaux of Lillian, AL; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Gerry Lee Mullineaux; one granddaughter, Lynn Plummer; three brothers, Joe, Paul and Jack Mullineaux; and one sister, Opal Jeanne Ford.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Reiner Onken of Ireton and Mrs. Martha Luschen of Hawarden, and two brothers, George and Adolph Twillman both of Ireton.
