He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, five sons, Adolph, of Blak Hawk; Joseph, of Chicago; Anthony, Frank and John, of Bear Creek, six daughters, Mrs. Mary Chapin, of Lake Geneva; Mrs. Agnes Greenheck of Bear Valley, Minnie, Edith and Anna, of Chicago; and Eva, of Bear Creek; besides many other more distant relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held September 27, 1926, at Keyesville, by Rev. Eather Fladd.1

Mrs. Roessler was a native of Germany, born in 1857. She had lived in the United States most of her life and near Keyesville many years, but had lived with her daughter for two years past. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic congregation. Deceased is survived by ten children, Mrs. Neal Chaping and Miss Minnie Roessler, Lake Geneva; Mrs. William Phalan and Mrs. Edw. Dwyer of Plain; Mrs. John Greenheck, town of Ithaca; Adolph, Sauk City; Joe, Anthony and John of Plain, and Frank of Hillpoint. The body was brought to the Lunenschloss-Doudna Funeral Home and later taken to Plain where on Friday morning services were conducted by Fr. G. J. Mueller at St. Mary's Catholic ch8urch at Keyesville and interment was made in the church cemetery.1
