     On 27 August 1915 his mother Helen and three sisters burned to death in a fire at the Presidio military reservation in San Francisco. Only he was rescued. His father was in the field commanding a Mexican border patrol at the time. Warren later moved in with his aunts. On 3 September 1924 at U S Passport Application, District of Columbia.
