She is survived by her husband, Dennis; sons, Leigh and Eric Drish of Allen; parents, Delores and Richard Muntz of Dubuque; sisters, Peggy Gibson and husband Tom of Dubuque, Laurie Nemmers and husband Randy also of Dubuque; brothers, Steve and wife Lisa of LeGrand, Iowa, Randy of Dubuque; father-in-law, Ron Drish; brothers-in-law, Dave, Dan, Duane and Doug Drish; mother-in-law, Jan Drish; grandparents, Lucille and Nick Tarnutzer, Arnold and Maude Muntz. nieces and nephews, Shayne Olsen, Misty Herring, Codi Nemmers, Maria, Sarah, and Nick Muntz, Destiny, Jason, Kayla, Miranda, Amanda, Danielle, Morgan, Tanner and Emily Drish and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Muntz. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 8, 2007 at First Baptist Church of Allen with Rev. James Craver officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.

He was an avid Pittsburgh Pirate and Minnesota Viking fan and loved the game of baseball. He was very involved with his family and appreciated spending time with them. Recently he developed a passion for barbecuing.

Surviving are his parents, Richard (Delores) Muntz; siblings, Peggy Gibson, Laurie (Randy) Nemmers and Steve (Lisa) Muntz; brother-in-law, Dennis (Esther) Drish; eight nieces and nephews; and nine great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Dawn Drish and Nancy Muntz; brother-in-law, Thomas Gibson; and grandparents, Arnold (Maude) Muntz and Nicholas (Lucille) Tarnutzer.

After moving back to Cassville, he drove long haul with his father. Pat was later employed with Artco Fleeting Services and The DTE power plant in Cassville. On April 11, 2003, Pat married Christine M. Wolf. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. Pat was a natural athlete, enjoying many sports activities. He was a girl’s basketball assistant coach at St. Charles School, which his daughters participated in. Pat enjoyed spending time with family and friends on the Mississippi River.

He was a loving husband to his wife, Chris; a devoted father to his children, Stephanie, Brooke, Brianna, and Alex. Also surviving are his brothers, David (Vicki), Ken (Mary), Robert, Thomas (Anne), Doug (Cindy), Ron, Greg (Rhonda), Daniel and his sister, Diane Ploessl; his mother and father-in-law, Norma and Rodney Wolf; his special aunt, Mary Vondrum; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pat was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013, at 11 a.m. at ST. CHARLES CATHOLIC CHURCH in Cassville with Father John Meinholz officiating. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Cassville. Family and friends may call on Thursday, May 9, 2013, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at ST. CHARLES CATHOLIC CHURCH in Cassville and on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Patrick J. Ploessl Memorial Fund has been established. Martin Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cassville is serving the family.

She was born on July 26, 1924, in Cassville, daughter of Clifford and Agnes (Brinkman) Shaben. She attended St. Charles School in Cassville.
She married Vincent "Crum" Vondrum at St. Charles Catholic Church, Cassville, he preceded her in death. After their marriage, the couple farmed. After retirement, she worked for Wisconsin Barge Lines and Rapid Die and Mold Co.
Jean was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and enjoyed music. She was able to play the piano, saxophone and the guitar. Jean and her sisters had a small band where she played the saxophone.
Surviving are her son, Dennis (Betty) Vondrum, of Madison; three grandchildren, Travis, Chad and Cody Vondrum; a great-grandchild, Kayla Miller; a brother and six sisters, Rose (John) Schnorrenberg, Lea Mae (Lester) Esser, Lila (Julius) Hochhausen, Gloria (Robert) Hudson and Judy (Dennis) Laufenberg, all of Cassville, Joanne (Gerald) Duncan of Bloomington, and Lonnie (Helen) Shaben, of Dubuque; other relatives and many friends.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Paul and LeRoy Shaben.
