Mike and Darlene (Louwagie) were married in Green Valley, MN, on June 6, 1964.

Family and friends were invited to call at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home, Sparta, on Thursday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. A prayer service and memorial began at 7 p.m; friends and family were invited to share stories about Mike and celebrate his life. Visitation continued on Friday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Sparta, from 10 a.m. until the time of services.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, November 13, 2015 at 11 a.m., with Father James Leary OFM Cap officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

In keeping with his final wishes there will be no public service & a private family burial will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Furlong Funeral Chapel in Galena is assisting the family with final arrangements.
David Harold Thiltgen was born April 11, 1948, in Hazel Green, WI, the son of Harold and Virginia (Noland) Thiltgen and one of five children. He was united in marriage to Patricia Hillard, of Galena, IL, and together had two daughters, Sarah and Elizabeth. He worked many years for Tri-State Tours, of Galena, IL, and later became the owner/operator of Timmerman's Hotel & Supper Club in East Dubuque IL. He later retired to Texas, before returning To Galena in 2012.
He is survived by his two daughters: Sarah and Elizabeth, both of Galena: three grandchildren, Madison, James and Isabel: two brothers: Richard and Roger, both of Houston TX: two sisters: Mary McNamer, of Little Rock AK, and Judy Burbach, of Pinehurst NC, and many nieces and nephews who will long remember the generous nature of "Uncle Dave"
He was loved by and preceded in death by His parents, Harold and Virginia, his nephew Jeffery, and his brother-in-law Vince.

She was born March 19, 1948 in Clintonville to Theda (Noland) Polich and the late Anthony Polich. On May 12, 1972 Mary married Ronald J. Coppersmith. Mary was employed in the banking industry until her retirement. She loved traveling, spending time at the cottage, wintering in Texas, and spending time with her family, especially her two grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald; her daughter, Jody (Peter) Walton; two grandchildren, Abigail and Elizabeth Walton; her mother, Theda Polich; three sisters, Barbara (Val Antczak) Polich, Salt Lake City, UT; Patricia Polich, Green Bay; Kathryn (Greg) Bryan, San Diego, CA; nieces and nephews: Heather (Haidyn Cox) Servais; Eric (Stephanie) Servais and their children, Grace and Ava; Ryan (Jinha Evensen) Servais; and Kate Servais; Benjamin and Thomas Antczak; Tyler and Troy Bryan. She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Polich; sister, Jayne Servais; and mother-in-law, LaVerne Coppersmith.

Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason Street on Thursday from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Parish prayer service 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. with closed casket, at Prince of Peace Church, 3425 Willow Road. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Ron Belitz officiating. Entombment at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
