Bob was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Bonnie Urfer on Oct. 5, 1957 in Spring Green; she preceded him in death on Sept. 11, 2020. Bob worked as a machinist in Chicago for a short time; he and Bonnie later moved their family to Madison where Bob started a career with the Madison Fire Department. He served his community for over 25 years as a firefighter and paramedic. When not on shift with the Fire Department he worked at Gordon Flesch Co. In retirement, Bob and Bonnie moved to their home on Lake Wisconsin. He was an amazing inventor and problem-solver and loved to design gadgets and electronics in his garage. He enjoyed canoeing on the Wisconsin River, snowmobile trips up north, and spending time with friends, family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his 3 daughters, Pamela (Dennis) Reichardt, Diana (David) Allaby, Julie (Bradley) Miller; 8 grandchildren, Daniel (Valerie) Wopat, Trevor Reichardt, Hillary (Dominick) Marino, Joseph (Laura) Allaby, Brian (Michelle) Allaby, Amanda Allaby (Kevin Mayer), Zachary (Nikki) Miller and Ian Miller; 14 great grandchildren. He is further survived by brothers, Rudy Jr. (Carol) and Gary (Karrie) Ringelstetter.

In addition to his parents and wife, Bonnie; he was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Roberts.

Bob and Bonnie’s family wishes to thank the entire staff at The Pines for their wonderful care of dad and mom.

She later went to work for G.A.B. in Madison for 10 years, until she and Ringo retired to their home on Lake Wisconsin. Together they enjoyed canoeing on the Wisconsin River, snowmobile trips up north, and spending time with friends, family and grandchildren. Bonnie held these memories close in her many photo albums. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and cheered them on whenever they played. Her chocolate chip cookies will never be matched.

They were known for having a pumpkin patch and Viola was locally nicknamed the 'pumpkin lady'. Recently Viola was vacationing in Fort Myers, FL and an individual recognized her and had fond memories of visiting her farm to get pumpkins. She greeted people with a smile and was loyal to her friends and family. She enjoyed playing cards with friends and was an active church member.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty Gruber (Mike Noskowiak), four grandchildren, Kimberly Fehrman, Chris 'Tiger' Fehrman (Amy Yanke), Melissa (Mike) Selby of Decatur, GA and Nicholle Fehrman (Craig Hulburt) of Milwaukee. She is further survived by four sisters, Arlene Williams, Caroline (Bud) Ederer, Ella Akins, and Dorothy (Clarence) Mougin; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Schwartz, MaryAnn Schwartz and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Lawrence and Harold Schwartz, sisters, Armella Meffert, Laura Endres and infant sister Loraine.

A visitation will be from 9:30-10:45 Friday, October 23 at Hooverson Funeral Home with the funeral mass taking place at 11 at St. Norbert's Parish in Roxbury, with Father Jerry Zhanay officiating. Interment will follow the service at St. Norbert's Cemetery.

Lynette married John Laughnan at St. Aloysius Church on May 30, 1942. She later married Albert “Bud” Diehl on May 4, 1980; he preceded her in death on Nov. 1, 1984. Lynette enjoyed volunteering at St. Vincent DePaul, playing cards with family and friends, fishing, and was always looking forward to a spur of the moment drive or trip.

Lynette is survived by her children, John Laughnan, Gregory (Galiya) Laughnan and Gretchen Cutler; 22 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; and her younger brother Maurice Schaefer. She is further survived by, Bud’s children, Sandra (Gary) Schlender, Richard (Virginia) Diehl, Curt (Nancy) Diehl, and Greg (Sharon) Diehl; and other relatives and many friends.

In addition to her parents and husband Bud, she was preceded in death by her children’s father John Laughnan; son in-law, Steve Cutler; and siblings, Laura, Erna, Verna, Ervin, Harley, and Stanley.

Pearlie was born on January 3,1937, at her grandmother’s home in North Freedom, WI to Wilbert and Myrtle Schaefer. Pearlie attended elementary school at Diamond Hill School in rural North Freedom and in 1954 graduated from Reedsburg High School.

On September 15, 1956, Pearlie married Verne W. Kindschi and moved to the family farm outside of Prairie du Sac. She was the bookkeeper at Woolworths in Baraboo until they adopted their son Brian in 1965. Three years later they adopted their daughter Susan and their family was complete. Pearlie was a hardworking farm wife. To her it was more than work; it was a part of her and an expression of her love. She fed farm workers at noon 6 days a week, did the farm books with Alice Kindschi and was an amazing wife, mom, daughter and daughter-in-law. After Brian graduated from high school, Pearlie went to work at Marie’s Dress Shop in Sauk City with her mother Myrtle.

Pearlie was a member of the Friendly Hours Homemaker Club from 1957 until it disbanded in the early 2000’s. She was a Sunday School teacher and 4-H leader while Brian and Susan were young. In 1983-1984 she was an AFS mom to Monica Vucasovic from Chile. That special bond continued until Pearlie’s passing. After retirement, Pearlie volunteered at Sauk Prairie Hospital and was a member of their auxiliary board for a number of years. She was the president in 1994. Pearlie and Verne traveled to every state in the continental United States in their Suburban, including 3 trips to Alaska. Pearlie’s grandchildren, Avery and Abby, held a very special place in her heart. She loved spending time with them on the farm as well as taking them on special trips.

Pearlie is survived by her husband of 63½ years Verne, daughter Susan (Alan) Williams, grandson Avery Williams, granddaughter Abby Williams, brother- in- law Ron (Donna) KIndschi, special sister-in-law Gertrude (Arthur) Christianson, numerous nieces and nephews, AFS daughter Monica Vucasovic and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Myrtle and Wilbert Schaefer, son Brian Kindschi and sister-in-law Marlene (Theodore) Meyer.

Evelyn loved socializing with family and friends and following the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers. She loved cooking, gardening, spending time outdoors, watching birds, and enjoying nature. Evelyn was a talented self-taught artist; her paintings adorned the walls of the family home.

Loving wife of the late LaVern, Evelyn is survived by her children, Boyd (Diane), of Waukesha, WI, and Wes (Becky) of Tomahawk, WI; three grandchildren: Megan, Jordan, and McKenna. She is also survived by 6 brothers and 3 sisters: Ben (Luella), Don (Dot,dec'd), Paul (Karen), Phil (Gloria), Joe (Carol), and Ned; Barbara (Lawrence, dec'd) Paar, Averil (Gary) Sutcliffe and Verna (Don, dec’d) Wallace. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Effie (Schultz) Hodgson, a brother, Claude, and an infant daughter, Julie.

The funeral service will be on Saturday, February 29th at 11:00 a.m. at New Heights Lutheran Church, 1705 Center St., Black Earth. Pastor Bill Wineke officiating; a luncheon will follow. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Hooverson Funeral Home, 702 Emily Rd., Mazomanie, and again on Saturday at 10:00 before the service at New Heights.

Meixelsperger, age 55, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and closest friends on Nov. 19, 2019 at University Hospital in Madison after a valiant yearlong battle with melanoma. Danny was born at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital Jan. 17, 1964 to Harold and Eileen (Hetzel) Meixelsperger.

Danny loved to ride his bicycle around Mazomanie and could often be found listening to Delilah on Magic 98. His family and friends meant the world to him; his smile, mannerisms and his “oh boy” attitude will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his mother, Eileen Van Acker; siblings, Sharron Vosen (Jeffrey Dalby), Sheryl (Danny) Schaller, Sue (Alan) Dresen, Steve (Pattie) Meixelsperger, David (Laurie) Meixelsperger, Dale (Monika) Meixelsperger, Diane (Kevin) Fisher, Donnie Meixelsperger; many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Harold Meixelsperger and his stepfather, Fred Van Acker & 2 nephews.

A private family service will be held on Nov. 25, 2019. Burial will be held in the St. Luke’s Cemetery, Plain.
