Lauretta Durst died on 6 September 2021 at age 100 Lauretta “Dimp” (Durst) McGlynn, 100, of Cazenovia passed away peacefully on Labor Day, Monday, September 6, 2021, at Pine Valley Community Village in Richland Center. Dimp was born on February 16, 1921, the daughter of Adam & Lauretta (Dederich) Durst. She married Tom McGlynn Sr. on October 16, 1945, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Keyesville.

Survivors include children, Tom (Winnie) McGlynn, Tad (Sue) McGlynn, Jerry (Janet) McGlynn, Jay McGlynn, Jim (Lisa) McGlynn, Pat (Monica) McGlynn; 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Durst; brother-in-law, Joseph (Barbara) McGlynn; a son-in-law, Paul Henry;2 daughters-in-law, Sharlene McGlynn, Gina McGlynn; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom McGlynn Sr; 2 sons, Joseph McGlynn, Timothy McGlynn; a daughter, Molly Henry; 2 brothers, Joseph Durst, Francis Durst; and a sister, Margaret Pringle.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 11:30 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Cazenovia. Fr. Nathan Thainaise will officiate with burial at St. Bridget’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held at St. Anthony’s from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
