Thomas Mercer married Hannah Taylor, daughter of Josiah Taylor and Elizabeth Pennell, on 26 January 1711 at Springfield Meeting, Chester, Pennsylvania. Thomas Mercer died on 28 January 1758 at Westtown, Chester, Pennsylvania, at age 67. He was buried after 28 January 1758 at Old Caln Friends Meeting Burial Ground, Coatesville, Chester, Pennsylvania.
