She leaves five children, one daughter, Mrs. Mercer, and four sons, Jos. C. and William, residing near town; T. W. of Portland, Ind., and J. R. of Watson, Ill, all of whom were present at the last sad obsequies over their loved one. Transcriber's notes. [This obituary is from a photocopy of the original from an unknown newspaper of the Chatsworth, IL area. The year of death was not stated. Mary died after May 22, 1880 when her husband died and before 1893 when her son Joseph died. Between those years August 26th was on Tuesday in 1884 and 1890. 1890 is the most likely year of her death based on where her children lived. Her husband William W. Darrah died in Randolph Co., IN while visiting a son Joseph.]
