He married Lucy McIntire and four children were born. The youngest son Carl preceded him in death. He leaves his wife Lucy McIntire; two sons Arlo McIntire and Frank McIntire and family; one daughter, Mrs. A. M. Croston and children. He also leaves 8 grandchildren and two great grandchildren, two nephews and one niece. Burial was made in the Reliance, S. D. Cemetery with Rev. R. B. Bonney officiating.
