He attended school in Akron and graduated from Akron High School in 1976. Following high school, he attended truck driving school at Western Iowa Tech in Sioux City. Daniel did construction work in the area. They later divorced. Daniel loved fixing and repairing things. It wasn’t uncommon for him to tear things completely apart and put it back together again. He had a love for horses and dogs. He also enjoyed going to sales and auctions, looking for that rare treasure. He also enjoyed fishing. But most of all, he loved the time spent with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
