His sister, De Etta, died in 1905; his brother, Tilton, in 1927. Jacob R. GOOD and Hattie B. ROACH were married Feb. 5, 1927, and she had 3 children by a former marriage. After the death of his father in 1894, his mother lived with him, who had been blind for 25 years before her death in 1933. He also provided a home for an elderly cousin who died in 1939, and the mother of Mrs. GOOD who died in 1934. Jacob R. GOOD died Dec. 29, 1944. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr. Jake and Mr. Tilt GOOD lived in Kinmundy a few years and helped in the John WILSON store. Many of the older citizens will remember the boys. Mr. GOOD was a resident of Lawrence, Kansas.

John Wilson

     John Wilson moved to Pike County, Ohio in 1797 from the state of New Jersey. Here, he married his first wife and raised three children. However, Amanda died in 1808 leaving John with three children, so he remarried, and then moved with his family to the Alma area in 1836 and purchased about 1,800 acres of land.

He and his second wife, Sarah, were buried on their farm in Alma. Two years later, when the farm was sold to Mr. John Cunningham, their bodies were moved to the Wilson Cemetery on theri grandson's farm owned by Samuel E. Wilson.
