Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's church on Saturday, at 9:00 a.m. The Rev. John DeRocher will officiate. Burial will take place in Calvary. Mr. Hartung was born on a farm near Dickeyville. When he was eleven years old the family moved to Neilsville, Wis. At the age of 21 he returned to this community and was employed on farms in the Dickeyville area. Following marriage he operated farms in Jamestown and about seven years ago he purchased a farm just south of Platteville where he has since resided. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church of Platteville and the Holy Name Society. Surviving are his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Mark Meyer, Mrs. Kenneth Reisen, Platteville and Lorraine at home, four sons, Linus, Wilfred, Eugene and Robert, all at home, his mother Mrs. John Hartung of Neilsville, Wisconsin, six brothers, Joseph, Anton and Henry of Neilsville, Frank of Chicago, Arthur of St. Louis and Clarence of Rochester, Mich., three sisters Lena Hartung of Chicago, Mrs. Frank Heinz of Milwaukee and Rosaline Hartung of Neilsville.
