He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy I. Friede and his brother James L. Friede.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Robert. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2001, at 2:00 p.m. at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
