She was born on March 4, 1923 in the Township of Reedsburg, Sauk County, the daughter of Walter and Agnes (Harms) Klitzke Sr. Elva was employed for many years at the Sauk County Health Care Center. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting, reading and playing cards. Elva also has a musical talent playing a mouth organ which was given to be by her father when she was only six years old. When she was about ten years old, she and Oscar Baumgarten entered a WLS radio talent show and they came in second place. Even at her 90th birthday, she entertained with a rendition of Red Wing. Elva was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Loganville where she was active in the women's organization, bible studies, tying quilts and the Prayer Shawl Ministry. Survivors include her four daughters: Carolyn (Dale) Meyer, of Loganville; Janet (Gary) Dorow, of Baraboo; Gloria (Michael) Hirsch, of Stoughton and Donna (David) Petrusaitis, of Midland Texas; her son: Jerome (Sue) Ninnemann, of Baraboo; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; two brothers: Marvin (Bertha) Klitzke, of Stoughton and Walter (Lorna) Klitzke Jr., of Rock Springs; her sister-in-law: Beverly (Don) Meyer, of Loganville; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews; She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Acton, on September 13, 2013; the father of her children: Kenneth Ninnemann; her parents; two brothers: Edwin and Allen Klitzke and her sister-in-law: Luella Klitzke. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Loganville with Pastor Jeff Tomberlin officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday at the Hoof Funeral Home in Reedsburg. The Hoof Funeral Home is serving the family.

This marriage was blessed with three children. He was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Reedsburg. Edwin enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was also an avid race car fan. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Allen Klitzke. He is survived by his wife, Luella of Rock Springs. Kohnke officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Friends called on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.      Harold Archibald McClain was born on 15 September 1921 at Potosi, Grant, Wisconsin. He was the son of Archibald John McClain and Elizabeth Ida Kreiser. Harold Archibald McClain married Marjorie L. Jorgensen, daughter of Hans Jorgensen and Minnie Mabel Gideon, on 3 September 1977 at Grant, Wisconsin.1 Harold Archibald McClain died on 17 February 2012 at age 90 Harold A. McClain, 90, of Potosi, passed away on Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at Southwest Health Center Hospital, Platteville. Harold was born on Sept. 15, 1921, on the family farm in rural Potosi where he lived and farmed for 90 years. He was the son of Arch and Ida Elizabeth (Krieser) McClain. Harold attended Sunnybrook Country School and graduated from Platteville High School. He was a member of the Mt. Zion United Church of Christ in Cornelia. He was married to Marjorie Jorgensen on Sept. 3, 1977. Marjorie passed away on Aug. 6, 2007. Harold is survived by his sister-in-law; as well as many nieces and nephews to whom he was a very special uncle and a great friend. He will be greatly missed by all of them. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, George and LaVern McClain; two sisters, Violet Langkamp and Marie Wunderlin; and two infant brothers. Also preceding him in death were his sister-in-law, Dorothy McClain; his brothers-in-law, Leonard Langkamp and Ambrose Wunderlin; his nephew, Kenneth Langkamp; and his niece, Velma Dolter. Funeral services will be 12 p.m. (noon) Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, at the MELBY-BENDORF FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Platteville. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Cornelia. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the MELBY-BENDORF FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Platteville. He was buried on 20 February 2012 at Mt. Zion (Cornelia) Cemetery, Harrison, Grant, Wisconsin.

Mabel was born on March 11, 1925, near Cornelia, Paris Township, Grant County the daughter of Philip H. and Margaret A. (Berg) VanNatta. She was united in marriage to Richard A. Johnson on October 26, 1945 in Kahoka, Missouri. In her late teens, Mabel listened to the Gospel and held the truth of God very close to her heart, which has given her life meaning and hope in death.
Mabel was employed at the Kansas State Teacher’s College in Emporia, Kansas and later at UW-Platteville. She received her degree in nursing and worked at Gray’s Nursing Home until an early retirement. She felt her greatest accomplishment in life was raising her four children…her most precious possessions. She is survived and sadly missed by her children, Dana Sue (Jim) Whitney of Omaha, NE; Curtis Jay (Carolyn) Johnson of Ocala, FL; Van (B-Kay) Johnson of Emporia, KS; Jane Lee Johnson of Livingston, WI; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren. Mabel dearly loved her grandchildren and treasured her time with them. She enjoyed photography and made individual photo albums a lasting treasure for each. She enjoyed having bible studies in her home, not held together by an organization but by divine love. She loved to travel and to visit family. She enjoyed life to the fullest, being thankful for every day God gave to her.
Mabel was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Carley Joelle Johnson, six sisters, Velma Wehnke, Iva Weber Bennett, May VanNatta, Katherine Krepfle, Hazel Maahs, Bernice Wilson Reisen; five brothers, Joe, Frank, Edward, Guerdon, and Roy VanNatta, her former husband and the father of her children, Richard Johnson of Leek Summit, Missouri.
