She is survived by her parents, Fred and Patsy Ederer of Prairie du Sac; 5 siblings, Michael (Leah) Ederer of Madison, Lisa Rathman of Baraboo, Timothy (Paige) Ederer of Prairie du Sac, Laura (Richard) Showers of Leland, and Jason Ederer of Madison; her grandmother, Caroline Ederer; 10 nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alfred Ederer, and Keith and Dorothy Downey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 22, 2014 at St. Lukes Catholic Church, Plain. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Sauk City, and also at the church on Friday, one hour prior to the Mass.

  • Hubert Mundth died on 22 August 2012 at age 91 Hubert E. Mundth, age 91, of Reedsburg, died on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Our House Assisted Living in Reedsburg. He was born on October 10, 1920 in the Township of Dellona, Sauk County, the son of Ruel and Leona (Kannenberg) Mundth. Hubert was a veteran of World War II having fought in two major campaigns in Central Europe and Rhineland. He was wounded in battle near Reagansburg, Germany and honorably awarded The Purple Heart. Hubert was also very proud to have served as a pallbearer at the funeral of General George Patton. On July 12, 1949, he was united in marriage to the former Margaret B. Brickl. Hubert was employed at General Motors in Janesville before becoming a lifelong Reedsburg area farmer. He had served on the Fox Creek School Board, the Sacred Heart Education Commission, Sacred Heart Church Council and the Reedsburg Equity Warehouse Board. He was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus, a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and a life member of the Reedsburg V.F.W. Post 1916. Hubert enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and woodworking. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; six children: Dan (Kathy) Mundth, of Reedsburg; David Mundth, of Baraboo, Larry (Bridget) Mundth, Carl (Rose) Mundth, Joann (Don) Douglas, all of Reedsburg and Connie (Thane) Ryland, of London, England; eighteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; his brother: Raymond (Arlene) Mundth, of Lyndon Station; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Allen Mundth, in October, 1991; his sister: Ruby Schulze and his brother: Philip Mundth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 27, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Reedsburg with Father Thomas Monaghan officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Reedsburg V.F.W. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday at the Hoof Funeral Home in Reedsburg where a Scripture service will be held at 7:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Sacred Heart School Endowment Fund or the CAL Center in Reedsburg would be appreciated. The family would like to give special thanks to Our House Assisted Living and to SouthernCare Hospice for the loving care and concern shown to both Hubert and Margaret. The Hoof Funeral Home is serving the family.

    Survivors include his 3 children, Kyle (Tracie) Alt of Spring Green, Christopher (Tina) Alt of Spring Green, Emma Stephens (Marcus Kraemer) of Spring Green; 5 grandchildren, Brandon, Taylor, Ethan, Evan, Alicyn; 4 step grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Merle (Dorothy) Alt of Baraboo, James (Rita) Alt of Spring Green, Thomas (Della) Alt of Spring Green, a sister Cheryl Alt of Middleton; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Kenneth Alt.

    A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 7:00 PM at the Clary Memorial Funeral Home in Richland Center. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM.
